FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) — Kentucky students ranked fourth among states that test all their graduates on the ACT college admissions exam, according to data released Wednesday.
Students in Kentucky’s graduating class of 2025 earned an average composite score of 18.4, trailing only Nebraska (19.2), Wyoming (19.1) and Tennessee (18.8) among the states requiring 100% participation.
A total of 77 students earned a perfect score of 36, and more than 52,900 graduates took the exam, representing a 3.8% increase from the previous year.
