For Shea Marie, it’s no longer just more of the same.

The influencer -slash-cofounder of Same Los Angeles is introducing outerwear as part of the swim-first brand’s layered fall assortment, her latest step in transitioning it to a year-round lifestyle concept.

“As someone who truly loves fashion, it’s always been my dream to design a full collection,” said Marie, adding the approach had to be strategic “with a timeline and rollout that made sense.”

She began in July 2024, naturally by offering the resortwear to match Same’s bestselling bathing suits. Piggybacking on that was a line of similarly tropical dresses and knit sets, but jackets and coats are a different game, Marie explained. “Like any new category, you’re learning, making mistakes and perfecting.”
