CANTON, S.D. (KELO) -- Nearly a year after the crime, a Sioux Falls man admits he killed his wife.
In a plea deal, Jimmie Ledbetter has pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the death of Angie Scholl.
Ledbetter strangled Scholl in her Sioux Falls home last October. Just days before Scholl died, she had filed for divorce and changed the locks on her house.
Ledbetter is scheduled to be sentenced in January.
KELOLAND's Dan Santella was in the courtroom and he'll have a full report later tonight on KELOLAND News.
