Tropical Storm Lorenzo may not be a named storm much longer, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The hurricane center said in an Oct. 15 advisory Lorenzo is "losing organization" over the central Atlantic Ocean, with maximum sustained winds near 40 mph with higher gusts. Forecasters said little change in strength is expected, with the storm likely to dissipate later Wednesday, Oct. 15.

As of 11 a.m. ET, Lorenzo was located about 1,365 miles west-northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands and is moving toward the north-northeast at around 14 mph, with a turn toward the northeast at a faster forward speed expected later Wednesday.

There are currently no watches or warnings in effect stemming from Lorenzo, and forecasters said there are currently no hazards affecting land.
