Two people from Tuscumbia were arrested Tuesday after deputies say they tried to sell stolen merchandise on Facebook Market Place.
According to the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office, 46-year-old Pamela Faye Rich and 44-year-old Shane Duane Staggs are both charged with two counts of theft of property.
The arrest comes after investigators learned Rich and Staggs were attempting to sell stolen merchandise from a storage unit in Lexington.
The sheriff's office says investigators and deputies orchestrated a plan to capture Rich and Staggs during the sale.
As the suspects arrived at the storage unit, they were taken into custody by investigators and deputies.
The sheriff's office says officials also discovered Staggs and Rich arrived to the scene in a stolen vehicle.
