Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya will embark on a three-day official visit to India from October 16 to 18, marking her first trip to the country since assuming office.

During the visit, the Sri Lankan PM will hold meetings with Indian political leaders to discuss a broad range of bilateral issues.

Amarasuriya will deliver the keynote address at the NDTV World Summit, co-organised by NDTV and Chintan Research Foundation, in New Delhi.

Amarasuriya, who is also the Education Minister of Sri Lanka, will visit Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi as well as NITI Aayog to explore avenues of collaboration in the domains of education and technology. Sri Lankan PM, who is a distinguished alumna of the Hindu College of Delhi University, will also visit her alma mater.
