A lucky Powerball player in Rochelle is now a millionaire.

The winning ticket, purchased at Road Ranger, 890 E. Highway 38, matched all five main numbers — 13, 16, 18, 20 and 27 — in the Oct. 11 drawing, missing only the Powerball number, 10, according to a community announcement.

These wins mark the 10th and 11th time in 2025 that Illinois lottery players have won $1 million or more playing Powerball.

Employees at Road Ranger were ecstatic when they heard the news.

When Rachel, the manager at Road Ranger told the team, they all started cheering, according to the announcement. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
