Bollywood actor and producer Kriti Sanon has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Indian actor to speak at the World Health Summit 2025 in Berlin. Representing India on the global stage, Sanon used her platform to spotlight the urgent need for greater investment in women’s health and gender equality.

At a high-level session titled “Women’s Health - Global Wealth: Catalysing Returns on Bold Investments," the UNFPA India Honorary Ambassador for Gender Equality called upon governments and global institutions to treat women’s health as a priority. “Women’s health is not a side issue. It is the cornerstone of humanity’s progress, prosperity, and future,” she said.
