A New Hampshire man violated the state's civil rights laws when he stole a pride sign from an intersection in Goffstown last year , according to the Attorney General's Office.

Officials say Frank Hobbs Jr. was caught on camera swiping the sign, which read "Goffstown Pride," in June 2024.

A woman had lawfully placed signs in support of the LGBTQ community, and when one of them disappeared, she decided to set up a trail camera. The camera captured another theft.

Local law enforcement said Hobbs was easily recognizable in the footage because he's well known in the community.
