BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A man was arrested in Boardman on a felony charge of receiving stolen property after attempting to sell thousands of dollars' worth of jewelry to a Boardman business that had been reported as stolen by a Poland Village store the day prior.
Amonte Alfonso Donaldson Sr. is charged with a fourth-degree felony of receiving stolen property. He was arraigned before Judge Joseph Houser on Tuesday and is set to return to court for a preliminary hearing on Thursday.
According to a Boardman police report, officers were called to a Market Street business on Friday for a man inside the business attempting to sell $40,000 worth of jewelry that was recently suspected as stolen from a Poland Village store.
