An 18-year-old who killed a 17-year-old girl in a UTV accident on May 18 pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide in Multnomah County Circuit Court last week.
Ayden Heard, of Scappoose, was driving a UTV on Sauvie Island, with Ava Crews as a passenger, when he made a sharp turn, flipping the vehicle and killing the girl. He admitted to drinking alcohol, according to court records.
