POLK COUNTY, Texas — The Polk County Sheriff's Office has taken a man into custody who was considered "armed and dangerous" in connection to a shooting in the Leggett area.

According to the sheriff's office, Lee David Strole has been found and taken into custody. The shooting incident is still being investigated.

PCSO said there is no active threat to the public.
