Recently, I asked Kevin Ladd, co-creator and chief operating officer of the website, to share some of his strategies for a successful search for scholarships and other forms of financial aid.

How did your passion begin for helping students find scholarships?

“It really began when I got the opportunity to be on the team building the Scholarships.com ’s website more than 26 years ago. I thought it was a great idea and jumped in with both feet as we started the long, arduous endeavor of listing, filtering, and often promoting scholarships that could be literally life-changing for so many aspiring students.”
