Scottsdale Unified School District’s Math and Science Academy at Mohave Middle School is open and district officials say it is already inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders.

Following last year’s announcement of the program’s expansion from Saguaro High School, the new academy at Mohave is accepting students.

An open house is scheduled 6-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27, at Mohave Middle School, 8490 E Jackrabbit Road.
