CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - If you are a lover of live jazz music, then the SEMO Fall Jazz Concert is for you.

Be part of the magic while director Felipe Brito helps perform beautiful melodies on October 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Bedell Performance Hall at River Campus.

Bringing to life a jazz-infused interpretation of West Side Story, the SEMO Department of Music said that it will have an evening full of energy, artistry and heart.

“I’m very excited for our West Side production,” said sophomore music education major David White. “This is my first year in jazz studio, and we’re here playing a lot of fun tunes and rehearsing a lot. I’m super excited to see how the performance goes.”

According to the Department of Music, the event is free to the public, with tickets being sold at RIVERC
