A St. Paul Police Department employee has been fired after being charged with one count of felony drug possession.

Jamond Glass, 34, was working as a community engagement specialist with the police department. His employment was terminated on Tuesday, according to a department spokesperson.

According to charges filed this week, the Minneapolis Airport Police contacted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Friday and said they had intercepted a package containing a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, addressed to a home in Woodbury. Deputies surveilled the package until it was delivered to the house, and Glass allegedly brought it inside.
