Santa Marians can help shape the next public art installation by voting for their favorite design for a planned mural at Taylor Park - a pocket park that opened at a previously vacant lot during the summer.

Community members are invited to share their opinion on three designs by participating in a poll at www.cityofsantamaria.org/recreation through a direct public art mural link.

The poll will be open through Friday, Oct. 24.

Once the community’s choice has been selected, residents of all ages are invited to join the Recreation and Parks Department for a hands-on mural painting event on Sunday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
