Arts at the Sunset was glowing with a special kind of light Saturday evening, Oct. 11 after the sun went down as the Night Glow took place for the first time. Behind the Amarillo Art Institute building, vendors set up tents with special lights while the crew from Blind Bird, a glass blowing group, sculpted their creative pieces out of the hot kiln set up for the admirers to watch.

The cool autumn air made the event very pleasant and special, especially for hot chocolate and s’mores, along with adult beverages available to the crowd. It seemed to be a hit to those attending after the Amarillo International Film Festival, which took place earlier in the day.
