The family of a 65-year-old Selma man who went missing during a hunting trip is pleading for the public’s help as search efforts intensify in the Dinky Creek Road area near Shaver Lake.

Ron Dailey left his home Monday morning and was expected back that evening but has not been seen or heard from since, according to his family.

Dailey is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair and a beard. The family said he has underlying medical conditions, including type 2 diabetes and heart issues.

His wife, Glenda Dailey, said the family last saw him at 7 a.m. Monday. “He is never late,” she said, noting that his location stopped moving around 9:30 or 10 a.m., which prompted them to call authorities.
