Cowboys' Brian Schottenheimer gives CeeDee Lamb very low bar to clear for Week 7 return

The Dallas Cowboys offered up a huge injury update on wide receiver CeeDee Lamb ahead of their Week 7 game against the Washington Commanders .

Earlier in the day, Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer revealed that Lamb would return to practice for the first time since his injury. That puts the Cowboys star on track to return after a three-game absence.

When asked what needs to see from Lamb in order to know he's ready to go, Schottenheimer revealed it wasn't much.

"Yeah, if he’s breathing, I’d feel pretty good... Honestly. Nah, I mean CeeDee knows how to play football," the coach said. "If he runs around and catches a pass or two, I’m good," Schottenheimer said, per
