Alberta RCMP issued over 1900 tickets over Thanksgiving long weekend.

Alberta Mounties participated in Operation Impact 2025, a safety campaign aimed at making Canada’s roads the safest in the world.

A total of 1,916 tickets were issued, 55 for distracted for driving, 13 for seatbelt infractions, and 841 for speeding.

According to police, 106 drivers were removed from the roads for being impaired due to drugs or alcohol and 45 collisions resulted in injures, but no fatalities.

Alberta RCMP are thanking everyone who helped keep themselves and others safe this Thanksgiving.
