US President Donald Trump has threatened Hamas again, saying Israel will return to the streets and they’ll be “straightened out quickly” if the group refuses to uphold its end of the Gaza ceasefire.

Mr Trump has told CNN that he would think about allowing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s military to resume action “as soon as I say the word”.

“What’s going on with Hamas - that’ll be straightened out quickly,” Mr Trump said on a call.

He said he’d “think about” what happens if the terrorist group does not disarm.

“Israel will return to those streets as soon as I say the word,” he said. “If Israel could go in and knock the crap of them, they’d do that.”

“I had to hold them (the IDF) back... I had it out with Bibi.”
