Greensboro police are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred at the Maple Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center, according to a online police incident report.

The report says that the incident involved a 62-year-old man and occurred on Oct. 8 at Maple Grove, 308 W. Meadowview Road.

The man's name was redacted in the report.

Scott Muthersbaugh, the public information officer for Guilford County Emergency Services, said in an email that "We did respond to the facility at 6:08 that morning with an ambulance. Ultimately, we transported one patient with minor injuries."

According to a call the News & Record was able to obtain from the nursing home made to Guilford Metro 911 on Oct. 9 a caller tells a dispatcher that the victim claims he was hit.
