MILWAUKEE- Malcolm Brogdon who spent three seasons with Milwaukee and won rookie of the year in 2017, has announced his retirement after nine NBA seasons.

Brogdon averaged 15.3 points, 4.7 assists, and 4.1 rebounds in 463 games played.

He was selected in the second round by the Bucks of the 2016 NBA Draft out of the University of Virginia.

Following his tenure in Milwaukee, Brogdon played for the Indiana Pacers (2019-2022), Boston Celtics (2022-23), Portland Trail Blazers (2023-24), and Washington Wizards (2024-25).

During his playing career, Brogdon earned the nickname, "The President," due to his reported professional demeanor, and master's degree in public policy from the Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia.
