SOMERSET, Ky. (WKYT) - A southern Kentucky man is accused of murdering his neighbor.

The crime happened a week ago in a Somerset neighborhood.

Wednesday, police testified of the bizarre circumstances surrounding the crime as we are learning more about the case from the 911 calls made after the shooting.

After Adam Roark was shot outside his home on Dogwood Lane, there were two 911 calls made, one from Roark’s wife, the other from the suspect.

Suspect called 911 to confess

“911? Yeah, I just wanted to call and say I just shot Adam Roark, you know, I’ve been, I’ve been tortured for five years now,” the suspect said in the 911 call.
