AUBURN, Ind. (WPTA) - Sonic Drive-In‘s return to northeast Indiana is almost here!

Construction has been completed at the restaurant’s new Auburn location , and pre-opening appreciation events are now being held in celebration.

The pre-opening appreciation events are taking place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Wednesday’s event is a Teacher Appreciation Day, Thursday’s event is First Responders Appreciation Day, and Friday’s event is a Military Appreciation Day.

Each day, the respective party is simply asked to bring their badge/ID to enjoy a free meal.

In addition, any tips given each day will go toward supporting local programs.

The restaurant is set to hold its grand opening from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on November 5.
