NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Nashville Department of Transportation is sharing an update on a pedestrian project on Lebanon Pike.

The Lebanon Pike Pedestrian Improvement Project began as a way to make the roadway safer and more walkable. NDOT said the project is “designed to enhance safety, accessibility, and connectivity for pedestrians and transit riders” in that area.

Currently, NDOT has completed 700 feet of sidewalk and stormwater upgrades and added cross walks, a WeGo bus pad and pedestrian signals.
