Apple today unveiled a suite of new hardware powered by its next-generation M5 chip, advancing its push into AI, graphics, and performance across iPad and MacBook – and even announcing an upgraded version of the Apple Vision Pro. The launch marks Apple’s biggest performance leap since the original M1, with the tech giant signalling a clear emphasis on AI processing, display tech and battery efficiency as key focus areas.
At the centre of the announcements is the new iPad Pro, offering Apple's best ever Ultra Retina XDR display in both 11-inch and 13-inch options. The tablet is powered by the brand new M5 chip, which Apple says delivers up to 3.5 times faster AI performance than its predecessor and 5.6 times faster than the first-generation M1. The new architecture features a 10-core GPU w
