An artificial intelligence firm is aiming to bring data-driven solutions to transportation, both in the city and across the state.

Cyvl uses technology to identify problems like potholes and road issues before they become a costly problem. The company has partnerships with the city's Department of Transportation and Parks Department.

Cyvl CEO Daniel Pelaez joined "The Rush Hour" on Wednesday to talk about how the technology works, and how its being applied to streets across New York.
