PHOENIX (AZFamily) — We will be sitting on the southern edge of a dip in the jet stream for the next couple of days. This will help us keep our cool for the rest of the work week.

Highs should stay in the upper 70s through Thursday, with a high of around 80 likely on Friday. Of course, comfortable afternoons often go together with cool mornings. Through Saturday, morning lows will be around 60 in Phoenix with 50s likely in the surrounding metro area.

A ridge of high pressure will start to build this weekend. This will warm us up into the low to mid 80s on Saturday and mid to upper 80s on Sunday. Keep in mind, the normal high temperature on Sunday is 88. Highs will stay near normal on Monday before potentially dropping off into the mid 80s on Tuesday.
