FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Officials with Fort Wayne FC say the Allen County Board of Zoning Appeals approved their proposal for the stadium’s lighting poles today.
The poles are estimated to stand between 75 and 80 feet tall. That’s about 30 feet taller than what the county normally allows. The proposal was approved by the board unanimously.
Construction on the new soccer stadium along Bass Road on the southwest side of Fort Wayne began in April, and the club has been aiming for a March 2026 project deadline since the start.
