CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Boal City Brewing in Boalsburg is launching a new beer, Purple Pinkie Pale Ale, to support the fight against polio as part of the Downtown State College Rotary's second annual Pints Against Polio.
The initiative aims to raise funds for polio eradication, with proceeds from the beer sales going to the Rotary Foundation's End Polio campaign. The beer will be available starting Oct. 15, with events running through Oct. 25.
"We are this close to ending polio, but we still need to raise funds together," Downtown State College Rotary Club Vice President Eric Norenberg said.
