Ketchum resident and real estate investor John Wigdale has filed to run for election to the office of Ketchum mayor.

The candidate filing period ended Friday, Aug. 29, though write-in candidates can still file to run for office by 5 p.m. today, Friday, Sept. 5. Prospective candidates can learn more by visiting the Blaine County Elections Office website at co.blaine.id.us/196/Elections .

Current Mayor Neil Bradshaw announced in May that he would not seek a third term this fall.
