BILLINGS — Scobey football coach Brock Berryhill is trying to keep his team from getting noticed.

"The less you write about us, the better," Berryhill joked to end a phone interview with The Billings Gazette and 406 MT Sports Tuesday night.

That mentality is what Berryhill is trying to instill in his top-ranked Spartans as they navigate their undefeated 8-Man football season.

Scobey, a Class C 8-Man state semifinalist last year , is 6-0 overall and 4-0 in Eastern C play entering its last two games of the regular season, including a Thursday night home matchup against rival and two-time reigning Class C state champion Fairview (4-2, 4-2 Eastern C).

But again, Berryhill is trying to keep his team in the moment.
