MILWAUKEE — One person died after crashing into a building in Milwaukee early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just after 2 a.m. near 35th and Locust, on Oct. 15.

Police said a 44-year-old driver veered off the road, went through a fence and then collided with a building. The driver was taken to a hospital, where they died.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office later identified the victim as Yancy L. Gibson. According to authorities, Gibson had a "significant" cardiac history. His cause of death has been listed as "natural."
