On a four-game losing streak and already 0-2 in River Ridge District play, the Blacksburg High School football team looked to the air attack to get back in the win column.
Production in that realm came from junior tight end Mack Strahm, who hauled in five receptions for 111 yards and accounted for all of Easton Holt's passing yards to help lead the Bruins to a 43-0 rout of Hidden Valley at Bill Brown Stadium.
"It was huge, to get the momentum back. We lost four straight games that we thought we shouldn't have lost. They were close games, difficult losses, so it was nice to have a big one and just get the momentum back. There are more district games that we need to win, so it's exciting to have some momentum."
