MAYFLOWER, Ark. – Deputies and the US Marshals Service are on the scene of a barricade situation in Faulkner County.

Officials with the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office said deputies and marshals are “working a barricade” at 2 Carroll Road in Mayflower.

Authorities noted that there are numerous officers in the area.

No suspect information has been released at this time; however, officials stated that the suspect is in custody.

FCSO officials ask people to avoid the area until further notice.
