MARINELAND, Fla. — The final bid has been placed on Marineland Dolphin Adventure, and it was placed by a mystery company named Delightful Development, LLC.

Marineland Dolphin Adventure was up for auction because its parent company – The Dolphin Company – filed for bankruptcy this past spring.

Hutson Companies had placed a bid for $3.5 million; however, the final bid was double that at $7.1 million, placed by Delightful Development.

Not much is online about this company. It is not a registered company in Florida.

The big question is: what will it do with the 87-year-old marine life attraction? We don’t know.
