DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team is preparing for a home and home series with Bemidji State.
In the two squads last 10 meetings, UMD holds a 6-1-2 record with the lone loss coming last year on October 5th.
Head Coach Scott Sandelin sees a lot of improvement from his upcoming opponent while comparing last year to this year.
“They play well defensively. They don’t give you a lot of room. They compete extremely hard. They’re always a hard team to play against. That’s not going to change. I just think they have better sticks. They have better players. I think offensively, forward-wise they have some older skill players that are certainly a little more dangerous,” said Sandelin.
