LITTLE ROCK, Ark — The Little Rock community has come together to help TSA employees continue to work through the government shutdown.

At Clinton National Airport, TSA agents play a critical role. They make sure you make it to your flight safe and sound.

"Whether you're at the checkpoint or at the tower or over at customs and border protection, and you see the employees and how they want to continue to be here and serve," said Shane Carter, who leads strategic communications and governmental affairs at Clinton National Airport.

Carter said that about 100 TSA employees have continued to work through the government shutdown.

That also means that they have been without pay since October 1.
