ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and police were involved in operations around Chicago this week, in Operation Midway Blitz, where President Trump has directed national guard troops into the Chicago, Illiniois area to prevent crime, law enforcement and arrest people who are in the US illegally or have deport orders and arrest warrants or a criminal history. Police activity and Border Patrol officers in the area were challenged by protestors and citizens who resisted some of the arrests and actions.
