The Seattle Mariners took Game 1 of the ALCS from the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday night, and the contest became notable for how the Mariners’ pitching staff shut down the Blue Jays’ offense.

The Mariners received six stellar innings from starting pitcher Bryce Miller on just three days’ rest, while Cal Raleigh had the big blast in this contest, crushing a 420-foot home run off a two-strike pitch from Blue Jays ace Kevin Gausman to tie the game at 1-1 in the sixth inning.
