A daycare employee in Sutter County has been arrested on felony child sexual abuse charges after multiple reports of alleged abuse at Kruse’s Playhouse Daycare in Live Oak. Authorities identified the suspect as Steven Kruse, who worked at the home-based facility. The City of Live Oak has revoked the daycare’s license, and the California Department of Social Services is conducting a separate administrative investigation. The Sutter County Sheriff’s Office believes there may be additional victims and urges anyone with information to come forward.
