OSCEOLA, Mo. — Two suffered serious injuries in a UTV wreck in St. Clair County at around 12:24 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 76-year-old Osceola man was driving a 2008 Yamaha Rhino 700 with a 3-year-old boy as a passenger on private property around 7.5 miles south of Osceola.

The crash occurred when the driver lost control of the UTV and struck a tree, the report states.

The 3-year-old, from Greenwood, was transported by life flight to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

The driver was transported via helicopter to Kansas City Research Hospital, the report states.
