An eyesore building near Interstate 84, formerly Gordon’s Fireplace Shop, sold at auction for $575,000 to an undisclosed Oregon buyer.
The vacant, graffiti-covered building that was formerly home to the business in Northeast Portland has been on and off the market for more than a year as a messy receivership plays out in Multnomah County Circuit Court. An auction Wednesday ended with a winning bid that still needs court approval due to ongoing litigation, but brokers expect the deal to close in 60-90 days.
