MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — The City of Midwest City is alerting some residents that their water service will be temporarily interrupted as crews work on water valves.

According to officials, a necessary replacement of multiple water valves will bring a temporary water shutoff along Midwest Boulevard on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The shutoff is said to affect customers who live on the east side of Midwest Boulevard, between Reno Avenue and NE 10th Street, while several customers on the west side of Midwest and Reno will also experience a temporary loss of service.

The City says that water is expected to be restored on or before Friday, October 17, at 6 a.m.
