CINCINNATI —

A pedestrian is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in Millvale.

Units with the Cincinnati Police Department say the crash happened on Westwood Northern Boulevard close to Sutter Avenue. Advertisement

The victim, a woman in her thirties, was taken to UC Hospital in critical condition but has since stabilized, police say. Officers spoke with witnesses to get a better description of the vehicle, which fled after hitting the victim.

Westwood Northern Boulevard is closed in the area of the crash. Officials at the scene say speed is a concern on that particular stretch of Westwood Northern Boulevard
