Former Centre Police Officer Sentenced to 4 Years in Federal Prison

Michael Kilgore was arrested by the Centre Police Department on May 3, 2023 on charges of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Controlled Substance Crime.

Kilgore was employed as a Centre Patrol Officer at the time. The allegations at the time were that he was mishandling and planting evidence on unsuspecting motorists in order to make drug arrests.

According to a statement from Chief Investigator Randy Mayorga, he was informed by a Special Agent with the FBI, Kilgore has been sentenced to serve 4 years in Federal Prison with 3 years of Federal Probation.
