PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Federal agents delayed an ambulance carrying an injured protester from leaving the ICE facility in south Portland for several minutes on Oct. 5, according to dispatch calls obtained by FOX 12.
The incident started around 8:45 p.m., when a protester was tackled by federal agents outside the facility on South McAdam Street and then carried inside the building.
About 15 minutes later, 911 dispatch received a call for emergency medical services.
“I’m calling from federal dispatch. I’m calling requesting EMS to 4310 S. McAdam for one of the detained subjects,” the 911 caller said.
