BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A four-year contract has been reached between Catholic Health and Communication Workers of America (CWA) Locals 1133 and 1168, Catholic Health announced Wednesday.
Over 2,800 staff members at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, and Sisters of Charity Hospital St. Joseph Campus voted to ratify the contract.
Worth an additional $100 million, the contract will raise wages at least 12 percent over four years while preserving safe staffing ratios, Catholic Health said.
